VN:F [1.8.3_1051]
Rating: 0.0/5 (0 votes cast)
December 30th, 2008

IP Blog Followers – I just wanted to send out a quick message to let everyone know that we’ve started the Everything IE (EIE) Beta.  If you have been selected to participate you will receive an email notification from the EIE administrator within the next 48 hours.  The email will provide you with your username and password and the login URL.  Once you’ve logged into the community it will be pretty self-explanatory – especially if you have experience with Facebook or Linkedin.  We will be holding online seminars and requesting detailed feedback and suggestions for the next 30 to 90 days.  Once all feedback has been processed – the site will open to the general public.  If you have any questions – please feel free to contact me directly at wlawson@ipexpert.com.  Thanks! – and Happy New Year to all! – Wayne

We Have our First CCDE – and The New CCIE Logo

December 27th, 2008

Hello!  Hopefully everyone is having a safe and happy holiday season!  I just wanted to send out a quick blog post to pass on some news that was just forwarded to me by Mark Snow.  It appears that we have the first CCDE – Ryan Hicks got his official pass report today with the CCDE #20080001.  The unofficial, but kinda’ verified news is that the CCIE logo (and all Cisco cert logos) are changing to the following (reported by CCIE Pursuit).  There was a lot of speculation as to which design would be used, but Ryan Hicks’ official CCDE score report came today with the new logo on it.  Congratulations Ryan!

Followers – just a quite note to let you know that we’ve sent out our final 2008 newsletter. It’s filled with various types of announcements ranging from new products / class offerings, payment plans being offered and many, many year-end discounts.  Beginning January 1st – we will be following a strict pricing model – these discounts won’t be seen or available again, so if you’re able – I’d definitely take advantage of this offer.  Also, in less than 24 hours I’ll be announcing the winners of our special giveaway….if you haven’t gotten involved yet – there’s still time!  Good Luck!  – Wayne

CCIE Wireless Candidates – We Need Your Help!

VN:F [1.8.3_1051]
Rating: 0.0/5 (0 votes cast)
December 4th, 2008

Ok – so yesterday I created a CCIE Wireless Group on Facebook.  The response has been ok thus far (approximately 30 people have joined).  I’ve also received about 10 emails / live chats (skype: waynelawsonipexpert) asking about development and beta testing opportunities.  After discussing this in detail with my team – we’re calling on YOU to assist us.  This initiative is going to be a bit different than anything we’ve set out to accomplish.  We’re a bit uncertain what the CCIE Wireless topology will look like (although we do have Cisco’s hardware list).  We’re also uncertain as to the depth of the technologies and protocols (admittedly – we’re not wireless experts – so we need to hire one!).  We’re actively looking for a fulltime CCIE Wireless expert (someone who’s on track to have their CCIE Wireless shortly after the release of the lab) as well as several contract developers to assist us in writing self-study materials (for both written and the lab) and ILT content.  Please reach out to me via the Facebook Group, via email or via Skype (waynelawsonipexpert).  I really believe that the CCIE Wireless certification is going to have an interest and demand equal to the CCIE Security – and we’re ready to make the investment in training solutions (hardware and content) to assist you in your certification preparation process – help us help you! Thanks! – Wayne
