Gang – More news coming shortly, but as of a few minutes ago – Cisco has officially announced that there will no longer be OEQs (Core Knowledge) for CCIE R&S and CCIE Voice tracks. Details (on this blog) and our technical community (www.OnlineStudyList.com) coming shortly.
Regards – Wayne

I guess this means that they thought Brad Ellis’ “nOEQ” idea was stupid.
hahahahahahaha
That is correct. I am proud of Cisco.
Hi
Thanks for update.
What about Security Track? if not then what crime Sec guys committed? otherwise It would be totally unfair with us who are following Sec Track.
I don’t why cisco always been so biased for Sec track. never published many books for ccsp and ccie studies. In current climate Sec is far important too.
at the end…
What does it mean that we have an extra 30 min to configure and or Cisco have added test topics from the blue print ?
I noticed when i was looking for date to sit the lab that there were no seats from the 1st to the 10th may and thought to myself they up to something i just hope its not too major the change they’ve made.
There are people taking labs today and tomorrow, I know for sure. I’m in constant touch with several of them. Needless to say, they are a little bit upset about the timing :-)

what abt SP when they remove from there
any idea’s
There is no update in Cisco Site. Is this information Real.
Ummm…
No one had to worry for timing… The OEQ Death Toll fell soon after the notice.
Whew!
Seven more days and my “prophecy” would have been out of sync with reality.
I guess if we talk enough – Cisco will listen.
It was nice for those who took the exam the last couple of days to not have to wait for the “official” word on the OEQ. They were already DOA after the announcement.
I think it would be just matter of time
they have to remove the OEQ from other tracks all
they can’t make it unfair for the other track guys
Well its really good to know this.
I hope that other tracks will also see this Happening.
Personally speaking, Its Good for me as I’ll be appearing for my CCIE R&S Shortly.
Cheers!
