From time to time, we have our students ask us what is the best way to access ProctorLabs equipment? How do you guys (instructors) do it? What should I do, etc. As with many other things, the answer is, of course – it depends! Many people have different styles and use different software and operating systems. I will explore several popular methods, operating systems and terminal programs here.

I’m sure you’ll all be happy to hear that we’re coming VERY CLOSE to being 100% completed with our CCIE R&S Blended Learning Solution! We’ve finished the Volume 3 Video Solutions and are almost completed w/ post-production. We have the Audio on Demand component left, and the product will be done! We appreciate (very much) the patience everyone has displayed. We also have a few surprises too! (free OEQ / Core Knowledge eBook coming in March to all BLS clients as well as a cleaned up Member’s Area so finding the latest versions of your files will be much, much easier!)
Also, Brandon has completed the AoD product and it will begin showing up in customer accounts. The Volume 1 Video Solutions are also completed, but going through a post-production phase which will take a few days. Remember though, the Volume 1 Video Solutions were NOT a component of the original BLS, so depending on when you purchased – you may *not* be entitled to these free of charge (but you will get a SIGNIFICANT discount). Please be sure to contact your Training Advisor for details!, but know that the CCIE Security BLS will also be completed soon – by the end of next month!
Lastly, stay tuned for quite a few announcements pertaining to a self-study product portfolio (and BLS self-study kit similar to our CCIE BLS) for the CCNA, CCNA Voice, CCNA Security, CCNP, CCVP and CCSP tracks. These products will be added to an overhauled website (coming again – soon) and will include pricing and timelines.
Regards – Wayne
Hello Everyone,
Ethernet is an example of broadcast multi-access network where devices can communicate with one another at Layer 2 within the same broadcast domain. If a rouge device is introduced into a VLAN, security issues may arise because all devices start sharing the same Layer 2 network. An example may be a web hosting company that provides space on a server it owns or leases for use by its clients.
