CCIE R&S and Security Clients,
Just a quick update….for R&S, the following labs (and Detailed Solution Guides) are either published (existing members accounts) – or will be published within the next day to your accounts:
Routing & Switching – Volumes 1, 2 and 3:
- Volume 1 (Done w/ 34 mock lab scenarios)
- Volume 2: Labs 1, 2, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 (12 out of 15 completed)
- Volume 3: Labs 1, 6, 7, 8, and 9 (5 out of 10 completed)
Security – Volumes 1 and 2:
- Volume 1: Labs 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B, 7A, 7B and 8A (13 out of 16 completed)
- Volume 2: Labs 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 (5 out of 10 completed)
We will be updating timelines on the full suite of products soon too! Thanks for hanging with us – this year has been filled with lots and lots of development with the 4.0 R&S, 3.0 Voice and 3.0 Security changes!

I’m looking forward to getting an update to the SP material. I do understand & respect your business decision for updating your more popular products first however.
Paul – the SP product has just had a few updates made – our new website (launching very soon) – will have these new updates spelled out. We’re also going to be completing our SP product line to fall in line with R&S, Voice and Security – with Video Solutions, Video on Demand and Audio.

Are the R&S volume 3 labs the Lab Mentoring Kit?
I only see vols 1 and 2 on the main site
Yes – they’re be repositioned as Volume 3 – and will have Video Solutions. These updates are free to existing customers.

Rohit – These workbooks do have Troubleshooting included – specifically for R&S the Troubleshooting will be implemented in Volume 3 (there will be OEQ, TS and the Lab – all within each scenario).

hello IPexpert team – when will the Solution Guides for RS Vol III be released? i understand the updates are only for the workbooks and not the solution guides (at least that is what i was told on “live chat”)
These are not just the workbooks – they’re also the solutions.

Did i get this right ? You are going to release video solutions to the vol 2 workbooks ? Are they going to be sold separately or are they included in the BLS ? Thanks

We’re in the process (literally) of launching a new website – once this is done, the post-production will resume on the VOD. I’m estimating that it will ship within the next 1.5 / 2 weeks.
