Below are the two links to the new Voice 3.0 and Security 3.0 Video on Demand products. We are planning a new website launch sometime next week, therefore I did not get into extreme detail on the description – just know that these new products will be as good, (actually better! ;-) as our previously-released, industry-leading versions of the same product(s). The pricing has gone up (for new clients) to reflect the new blueprint / content changes – and are as follows:
- CCIE Voice 3.0 VOD: $1,499.00
- CCIE Security 3.0 VOD $1,299.00
Existing customers get a free upgrade (to this entirely new, recreated product), however – they are required to cover the DVD costs, shipping and handling. (DVD cost is $50.00. The shipping charges are $25.00 for U.S. shipments and $55.00 for International.)
These products will begin shipping on or before 9/4/2009, and we’re taking pre-orders.

All, Link says DVDs but further down there is indication of shipping the media on hard disk, as was the case with the BLS. So, for existing customers, must we order DVDs or can we get the content updated on our drives via other means? Regards, Brett

Brett – the entire BLS will be changed when all content has been updated to the 3.0 track. We’re several months out until everything will be completed. Yeah – I know, not convenient or the best situation, but this method allows us to get stuff out sooner in pieces.

I want to order the DVDs now and get started with them then get the BLS updated later with everything. The only problem is that “upgrade” link does not recognize me as an existing customer. Guess I’ll just need to contact sales in the AM tomorrow.

Akash – The audio will be available via download and the workbooks via encrypted / electronic access – so, the answer to your question is, “no”. Also – remember – we don’t “require” you to upgrade – we’re *giving* you these free materials (list price of $1,499) for free if you “want” them….if you don’t want to pay for the media and / or shipment – that’s no problem – you’ve got the product you purchased.

so my question is that weather the new VoD available for shipping is final for v3 , or does it have only few sections, and when you add more sections, we have to reorder new dVDs (my guess is former, but just wanted to make sure).

Akash, I apologize for the confusion. The 3.0 VOD we announced for Voice is the final version. What I meant (BLS image changing) was that there are pieces of the BLS that are not completed yet – that will be finished over the next few months – such as the Video Solutions and new Audio section (Yes, there will be a completely different Audio Lecture done by Vik Malhi). We want to wait until *ALL* of these things are completed until we update the BLS image and begin shipping it (as the final version). My follow up question is when is updated BLS image is scheduled to be released, which includes all Audio/Video solutions.
